The perfect accompaniment for your next event, performing classics from the past through the standards of the present.

When not singing Kern and Cole Porter, Eileen Morris may be singing Strauss. Her performances span the worlds of opera, musical theater and jazz with roles as varied as Cleopatra and Gertrude Stein. You can hear her on the Grammy-nominated recording of “Corpus Evita” singing the role of Isabel Peron.

After a childhood of Mozart and Beethoven sonatas, classicly trained pianist Janis Dunson Wilson added rock and roll, jazz and Broadway riffs to her repertoire. Equipped with technical prowess and a talent for fun, she can play Wagner at your wedding and “Roll Over, Beethoven” at your reception.

Need a song for a special occasion? Janis is a published composer of songs, hymns and theater pieces.

Vocalist Eileen Morris earned her BA at UC San Diego, where she specialized in singing contemporary and baroque music. Her operatic roles include the four heroines in Offenbach’s “The Tales of Hoffmann,” Pamina in “The Magic Flute,” Alice Ford in “Falstaff,” Adina in “The Elixir of Love,” and the Countess in “The Marriage of Figaro.” Her love of the contemporary and baroque continue. Among other credits, she sang the role of Mama under Kent Nagano’s baton in the West Coast premiere of Elliot Carter’s “What Next”, premiered Richard Feliciano’s “Japanese Songbook,” and sang the Handel roles of Cleopatra, Atalanta and Vitige.  She is equally at home with American standards, and frequently performs a program of Porter, Gershwin and Berlin with her colleague Janis Dunson Wilson.
